ON-CALL NUTRITION SERVICES SUBSTITUTE performs duties under the direction of Food Services Manager for the purposes of helping with:


Food prep, food distribution for consumption by students and school personnel and to serve food and beverage items to students and staff;  Assist in set up for breakfast or lunch for students and staff; 

Washing dishes and run dishwasher for the purpose of maintaining safe and sanitary conditions;  Assist in cleaning kitchen for the purpose of maintaining safe and sanitary conditions; 

Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.

Prior food service/prep experience helpful; Knowledge/experience in operation of industrial size dishwashers helpful; Knowledge of modern methods of food preparation, health codes and sanitation principles; Abilities to stand and walk for prolonged periods; Understand and carry out oral and written instructions;

Significant physical abilities include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, talking/hearing conversations and other sounds (potential hazards), visual acuity/depth perception and visual accommendation. 

 

Bilingual/Bicultural  preferred

Oregon Fingerprint and Criminal Background Check clearance required;  Current State of Oregon Food Handlers Card required. 

Hours per day varies / TBD - Breakfast and Lunch Service Times for ON CALL BASIS ONLY - Entry level substitute position
